You're a professional or amateur pianist.
In any case, you don't have a piano at home or you don't have enough money to buy one.
However, you want to practice occasionally because you are preparing a concert, a Music College Entrance Exam, or just for fun
.
There is a place which suits you. It's the TORONTO PUBLIC LIBRARY.
The latter operates a total of 98 branch libraries in Toronto, therefore everyone can easily access to one.

Please check Hours & Locations on the site below:
http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/branches/

It is usually located upstairs. (in the case of the library near Bloor-Yonge Station, it's on the 4th floor.)
As you can see in the picture above, it's a small room which consist of 2 pianos.

Of course, the instrument is a Synthesizer, not a Grand Piano ^^.
You need to wear Headphones in order to play in silence.

The main advantage is that you don't have to own a library card.
Just go to the front desk of the floor and book for 30min per session.

I advise you to come in the  morning or early in the afternoon, you'll be able to play straight.
Late in the afternoon, it is rarely available.

You'll have to wait but not for a long time because the maximum time you can book is only 30min.
If you want to continue, please re-book.

Summer is a great time to visit the Toronto Islands! There are many things to do, like bike riding, swimming and dining.  Centre-ville is good  for kids, because there are a lot of rides and fun foods for kids to try. Tickets are not expsenvie ($7 per adult) and the ferry ride to the island is only around 15 minutes long.

Food is a little expensive on the island, so it might be a good idea to bring your own food.

The island would be a bit colder than the mainland, so don't forget to bring extra clothes too.

Hockey is one of Canada's most popular sports!
If you want to watch a hockey game, you can watch the Toronto Maple Leafs play at the Air Canada Centre!
The hockey season is from early October to around April and the playoffs go until June.
Tickets are a little expensive though. Tickets can go from $50 to over $1,000!

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, you can watch the Toronto Marlies play at Ricoh Colliseum. Their season also goes from October to April, but their tickets are a lot cheaper! For $25, you can get very good seats, very close to the players!

A lot of Canadians love hockey, and this is a great way to experience Canadian culture!

Everybody enjoys movies, but it is so expensive to go to the cinema! Don't worry though, because every Tuesday, movies are half price at some theatres!

Cineplex Theatres offer half price movies on Tuesdays and if you are a member of their Scene program, you can also get another 10% off tickets and snacks! You can also collect points by buying tickets and food. You can get a free movie every time you reach 1000 points!

Rainbow Cinemas also offer half price movies on Tuesdays, but their screens are very small and they don't have any membership programs, so it is not as good.

AMC Theatres offer Student discounts on their tickets if you show your student card.
